Despite missing the cut off, the Tarawera community waited more than 30 minutes to bring Lynda, the legend, home.
Grit, determination, courage, a sprinkle of craziness and immense support from the community around you is the recipe that you need to complete the 160km TMiler. #trailsfullofheart

This seems really unhealthy. I dont know why such things are celebrated. Her back is broken
Not a worthy sacrifice.
Is it solid concreet filling in that backpack?
Two things can be true at a once, she’s a great athlete who pushed beyond her training limits
insane, isnt there medical supervision to take her off the race and stop her harming herself
Where do we draw the line at stupidity? Science must tell us this on physiology. If your back is rounded like hers is, this is the point of stupidity.
Looks like she needed to train more.
Just for show! This is how you get views
To push the body this far is concerning as it could result in rhabdomyolysis
It's just stupid to do this kind of thing
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
So stupid…
Makes me cry
El jorobado de Notredame
that's not really healthy….
Bro wtf is the point in that.
That's not running. She lost
I’m in awe of some of these people and their mental fortitude 👏🏽👏🏽 Nothing but mad respect 🫡
What a beast!!!
45 seconds video and people are able to analyze and diagnose the situation. Wow!
She dont even run. She is good and strong but are not a runner , if u are good in hiking and can walk/hiking fast part of the course u can made it to the finish 💪🙏 I try that metod once and I finish a 100 miles race without running in whole race Walk/hiking only!
36h is not a bad time for a 100 mile
Her back
Although her determination is commendable I wish this didn't give her arthritis.
this is what "giving your all " looks like the feeling she must of had was soo good crossing the line and the hours of AMAZING pain afterwards and that sense of tired calmness you get after a shower etc /this feeling for 24 hours afterwards is like a drug and the more you give it the better the feeling its like th ebest councelling session you can get and you find out so much about yourself EVEN IF IT WAS A DNF giving your all is still giving your all
Actually so stupid
