  1. I’m personally so relieved Tanev didn’t come to the nucks. He’s not worth what you think he is, he’s getting old and just isn’t someone I don’t see working on the line

  2. They already said that Willander and Lekkerimaki won't be dealt. Losing Willander for Tanev mightve been worth it if they won the cup but Willander is supposed to be a future top 4 D

  3. So pretty much Tanev was done playing in Canada & the taxes we pay he gotta pay at a way more insane rate.. (yes ik he a toronto native but I’m from kitchener would moce to play for toronto but would leave rn to go to America at least make more money, especially at that age oh well 🤷‍♂️) or the flames just played toronto & new gm getting at brad because apparently they wanted a 1st rnd pick but they take a 2nd, 3rd & a prospect toronto could of provided. Canucks too they could of added just as much.
Gotta be some decision in the mix to go way south

  4. It’s about trust. Alvin doesn’t have any trust with earlier Vancouver acquisitions done by other GM’s. They have another defence man that is not as good as Taniv but who Alvin trusts.

  5. Yeah Dallas didn't give up a 1st round pick but they aren't in the Pacific either. That's probably the tax for them doing business in their division.

  6. A late 2nd rounder and a C prospect, very underwhelming. And only a cond 3rd for 50% retention too, which they probably wont even receive…

  7. The Canucks didn't miss an opportunity. Including willander in a tanev deal is absolutely stupid.

  8. When teams trade for Tavev in a situation like this do they plan on re-signing them ? I’m new feels like a lot to give up if he doesn’t re sign

  9. Honestly my main reason for wanting Pettersson to sign an extension is so I don't have to buy a new jersey

  10. ups the value of savard and maybe harris from montreal. walker goes first and hannifin if someone can pay through the nose

  11. Poor Leaf fans 😢, they really had their hopes up on getting Tanev 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 🖕 the Leafs

  12. willander???? really? wow you are so fast to throw a high first round pick like that? wow that kinda caught me off guard. more like jett woo lol. you would give up a second and last years first for another rental? lost me there

  13. Interestingly enough, Frank was on the Canucks Conversation podcast today for an interview and had to leave quickly near the end of it because of an "important phone call", I bet it was this news right here about Petey.

  14. Not selling good futures for Tanev, and I'm sure the Flames would jack up the price to lure the Canucks especially after the big return they got from Lindholm.

  15. Did you just suggest a 2nd WILLANDER and another pick??? Lay off the crack bud!!!! 😂😂😂😂

  16. Damn this guy lol first for rental would be to much🤦🏼‍♂️ you don’t know If Dallas will use that first pick in March 8

  17. very coincidental that a contract is in the works after all the distracting chatter … perhaps is all fake news just shut everyone up so he can play ! ( better than he has been lately )
