Easy drill to fix Shanks! | Golf

A easy drill for a lot of you! 😅

When you strike a ball off the heel it’s a jarring feeling. It happens when you have limited space between the legs and hands at impact moving the heel towards the ball. (In most cases)

The above is a quick fix, a feel to get strike back. Something posture or body movement related will be causing them. Seek help from your local pro for a long term fix. 🤝

  1. Now I hit both balls and I’m a scratch golfer wtf am I doing lol. My path is moving left but I flip early so imagine that not trying to shank it wow I can’t stop thinking about shanks 1 year later

  2. So, after you have repeated this drill, how should you set up to just ONE ball?

From the normal place with just the feeling of inside hands? Off the heel to maintain feel off inside hands?

  3. It's usually your left hip going too fast forward ahead of the ball or becoming disconnected on the way down

  4. Great tip 🎉 I used it today after id been shanking yippy yikes last 3 rounds.

I feel a lot more confident again 12.5hc

  5. I came across this more or less by accident. Was having so many toe strikes that were falling short and right. I started lining up on the hosel at address, and immediately starting hitting the sweet spot just about every time. I know I have some flaw in my swing that I am compensating for, but for the time being, it has made playing fun again.
