Recap: San Diego Gulls vs Henderson Silver Knights, 10.25.25

The San Diego Gulls wrapped up their back-to-back series in Henderson with a 5–2 loss to the Silver Knights on Saturday night at Lee’s Family Forum.

Yegor Sidorov opened the scoring midway through the first period, burying a power-play goal off a setup from Tristan Luneau to give the Gulls an early lead. Henderson responded quickly, striking twice late in the frame to take a 2–1 edge into the intermission.

The Silver Knights extended their lead with a power-play tally in the second, and defenseman Lukas Cormier added another on the man advantage early in the third. Judd Caulfield cut the deficit to 4–2 with his third of the season, assisted by Ryan Carpenter and Luneau, but Henderson sealed the game with a late insurance goal.

Ville Husso stopped 30 of 35 shots in his second start of the season, while Cameron Whitehead earned first-star honors with 37 saves and an assist for Henderson.

The Gulls return home next week looking to bounce back as they continue their early-season road-heavy stretch.
