  1. Thanks for pushing on Jason. We all appreciate these videos much more than you probably realize. I hope you well in your health!

  2. I’d like to see the flyers go back to the old days, more physical hockey, protecting the star players. Focus on accuracy as well for those players. 25:28 good point on focusing too much on hits, chase puck more with shooting accuracy

  3. Chasing hits and being out of position is an extreme example to use when arguing against hitting. Separating the man from the puck and wearing down defensemen with hits is a net positive when it's timely.

  4. Vladar has to be the guy we run with, until he stumbles. Ersson has proven he cannot be the guy, despite what fans and writers say. The reality is, he's just not a very good goaltender. He plays a game or two that are great, then mediocrity for weeks. Lets in so many soft goals, like the most of any Flyers goalie I can remember, and by a long-shot. Vladar is our man for now and I'm happy with it. I have not liked Sam's game at all since he's been here, I've never seen any indication he's anything more than a mediocre goalie.

  5. Vladar is here to stabilize the net. Whether as a starter playing 55 games or splitting with Ersson or pushing Ersson to better and therefore Sam plays 55 games. It's a win-win.

  6. IMO, hit numbers mean next to nothing. I was at the game Monday and my eyes did not tell me the Flyers were getting physically bullied, quite the opposite. The Flyers won puck battles all game long and controlled play most of the game. Trust your eyes, not the numbers.

  7. I would like to see more forechecking and less stick checking. Sticks lead to bad penalties. Use the body to disrupt and slow down the play; you don't have to slam the guy into the 3d row. Watch the 1st goal of the season. Cates has an angle on Rodriguez, but instead of cutting him off, he lets up and tries jabbing his stick at him. That left Seeler trying to cover two guys, and they got burned.

  8. WELL LETS DO THIS TACO – KEEP SWITCHING GOALIES EVERY GAME VLADAR ONE ERRSON NEXT KEEP THIS GOING SEE WHAT HAPPENS FOR FUN, BUT I LIKE CZECH PLAYERS THEY ARE SMART GUYS

  9. It's crazy that possession metrics have been the league standard for well over 10 years now, and yet we're still working on convincing the fanbase that having the puck is generally good, and high hit totals are generally bad.

  10. Jason! Just heard on PHLY you are cancer free. That’s amazing news. I was praying for you brother. Keep up the good work and Go Flyers ❤
