Ehlers needs to up his game. That own-goal tip-in tilted the momentum. Canes up 2-0, Bussi playing well, Dallas fans quiet, Dallas was not playing well. The game was lost starting there—regardless of mistakes compounded on later. Three assists and an own goal in eight games is not inspiring. One comment pointed out that he has scored more goals against the Hurricanes than for them.I hope Tulsky is smart enough to not waive Bussi when PK returns. He will be gone! The next time Freddie or Pyotr “tweak something”, the Canes will deeply regret it.
Yes we had bad calls in a couple games and they were terribly annoying but we found a way to win even after the calls in Colorado so the hall call shouldn’t be the reason we lost. We could’ve played better and a game shouldn’t come down to one call.
