  1. Unfortunately I don’t see them moving Comrie tomorrow. Partly because I don’t see a dance partner for that deal, but mostly because the only option if they do is to bring Tokarski or Levi up. And I don’t see them wanting to mess with the growth that Levi has gotten up to this point. I don’t think they’ll risk setting him back for the sake of playing him in a handful of games. My guess is, they’ll keep Comrie on the bench and let him walk at the end of the season.

  2. Tokarski’s NHL career #’s: 3.15 GA, .902 sv%
    Comrie’s NHL career #’s: 3.41 GA, .892 sv%

Throwing away 2 points every time he’s between the pipes.

  3. The passing was brutal tonight. Quinn’s the only forward they have left that has shown playmaking ability. Maybe Krebs but he never plays.

  4. I wanted to see a coaching change all the way back in November and felt with a few adjustments this team could be at the top of the standings. I’m now reflecting on the possibility it might not be the coaching as much as we think. I know this must sound incredibly stupid after everything that’s been discussed in these comments all season long. But I’m a boxing coach and noticed some things with the boxers I teach, as well as my own lessons I’ve learned over 15 years. You can teach the lessons (smart defense and two way hockey) and tell the players exactly how to do it with a gameplan, but to actually implement it takes a lot of practice and learning through failure. And they have to do it at the NHL level. It’s frustrating seeing how the Flyers and Red Wings are doing, but I think we will surpass them in time. The fans being out of patience is a problem that is on the fans. We need to get on board with Adams’ program. I think this team is being coached in phases and we’re not seeing it.

  5. Poor Byram. From the Avs to this bunch. Hope he makes Adams pay up to stay. This isn't a serious franchise, it's an emotional charity.

  6. Poor comrie. The worst games the sabres have played this year are always when he is in net (that game against NJ is one of the worst performances by this team that ive seen in years). This was probably their best outing in front of him and they still left him out to dry and blew assignments left and right. And couldn’t score. Comrie made huge saves early on and kept the sabres in it. Anyone blaming him is irrational and ignorant. The sabres played half assed tonight. Common theme with them.

  7. If you want Comrie gone tomorrow, you better hope he's waived because nobody is going to want him in a trade. I doubt he even gets claimed if waived…

  8. No Midts I miss him this Byram kid had a great first game he's small right? Not like #23 or 25,or 26 he must have the skills don't know him it's great he's played with about 3 or 4 players on the team in šŸ Canada I think looking to future were on good shape this could be the truest hockey team ever 4 of them grew up playing together ,Paterka future star Luuuk, best goalie in the league,Dahlin and add 1 piece that's what excites me about Sabres

  9. Wayne wayne, what do you think about the rumors and people wanting to bring Lindy back? I think it's a terrible idea it would be a classic Buffalo move to bring back a washed up guy that we already know won't work with our organization.

  10. love ya Wayne, but totally disagree…. This game was not on Comrie, the Sabres were totally asleep in front of him tonight… I mean Forsberg scored his second of the night in a 5 on 2 situation…. All 5 Sabres stood around watching the puck. Literally stood around. The lack of effort has been a theme with this team since Ted Nolan was canned (Not that he was a great coach)… Im sad to say this, but after 13 years i am really starting to lose my love for hockey. Its exhausting.

  11. I already love Byram. I get we didn’t have a choice putting Comrie in net, but he can’t stay. He’s gotta go. Special teams has always been a problem this year. I can only hope they address it in the offseason

  12. I've got to defend Comrie here, the guy's sat and watched for several games. He aint going to be sharp and it's up to the defence to step up. The guys a career backup/journeyman not even a fading starter. It's more on Adams for failing to secure a decent vet to take Anderson's spot. Imagine UPL with Anderson and the goals against would probably be lower. šŸ¤”

  13. Sabres forward group can't score, weak on the puck, and lost all confidence. Very sad. They need to get rid of skinner or move him down a line, and tuch shouldn't be on the first line.

  14. Too bad Byram got a raw trade deal … his heart must have dropped moving to the Sabres suckhole … should have traded the ownership , behind the bench coaching and management (GM) … this team is deadlined , no way they make the playoffs

  15. Considering it was only the second start for Comrie since early February that was an okay performance behind a team on the back end of a back to back. Nashville is on a tear right now with their win today pushing them to 10-0-1 in their last 11 games. Buffalo has solid youth, but the depth is what did them in against my Preds
