  1. I bet $125 on Schaefer at 17-1 to win the Calder, just cashed it out for $775 when I saw Demidov on PP1 a few days ago. bet $200 of that on Demidov to win the Calder at +350. Lets gooooo!

  2. Pretending that the Habs trade futures do BUF for Tage Thompson tomorrow, could you imagine a duo of Thompson-Demidov? Not to mention the fact Alex Newhook is already breaking out and would play on their wing.

Idc what anybody thinks of Alex Newhook, chemistry is king and he is playing well right now. We should definitely let that.blossom.

We'd have 2 lines better than any line we've basically had in my lifetime.

I think Tage could put up 50+ with Demidov on his wing.

  3. Impossible to talk about the Calder other than identifying the prime suspects and I agree Dobes probably has to play close to the 53 games Wolf did last season. I think we do know that isn't the plan.

  4. I believe for Demidov to win, he needs to be in the top 10 among all players in the NHL.

  5. "I think it will be a massive discussion"

Calder isn't attributed by a committee. Individual votes. Where does this hypothetical massive discussion occur??

  6. hey just some constructive feedback, I think the Audio could use some improving. It looks like you got good mics they just need some tweaking. Shauns mic in particular is very harsh for some reason.

  7. lOVE DEMIDOV BUT ITS SCHAEFER'S TROPHY. TO BE PLAYING THIS WELL AFTER GETTING DRAFTED 1ST OVERALL ONLY PLAYING 17 GAMES HIS DRAFT YEAR SHOWS HE IS A VERY SPECIAL KID. THROW IN THE HEARTACHE HE HAS HAD TO ENDURE OVER LAST 2 YEARS IS A STORY JUST TO GOOD NOT TO END WITH THE CALDER…HECK BEEN A HABS FAN FOR 50+ YRS AND I WOULD GIVE IT TO SCHAEFER.
ALL SAID, IT WILL COME DOWN TO ENDURANCE. EVERY YEAR WE SEE ROOKIES TAKE OFF AND LOOK GREAT HOWEVER WHEN THE SEASON STARTS INTO THE 50 GAMES, 60S, 70S, ETC THE YOUNG BODIES NOT USE TO THE GRIND TEND TO FAULTER FAST

  8. Demidov could become as great as Celebrini. Demidov could score 100-120 points a season and become a hall of fame player and one of the best players in league history and best player in habs history when he retires in 20 years.

  9. BUIUM A GREAT ROOKIE HOWEVER HE IS SCORING MAINLY ON THE WILD POWERPLAY COMPARED TO 5 ON 5 AND HID DEFENSIVE PLAY IS VERY MUCH LACKING FOR THE PRO GAME RIGHT NOW. I DONT SEE HIM KEEPING UP WITH THE 2 LEAD ROOKES. PLUS THERE IS A GREAT PACK OF ROOKIES THIS YEAR. IYS EARLY AND AT LEAST 10 COULD BE IN THE MIX

  10. Zeve B slid in the draft because of his heritage, know other reason. This kid is a top 5 talent period.

  11. Demidov himself said he wasn't happy with his game on Saturday night. 2 assists and a goal and he felt he didn't play well. When he gets comfortable, his confidence improves and he hits his stride, look out.
