  1. The biggest reason is this team of talented young men plays like a team. When you see an obvious future super-star like Demidov passing up on a shot to pass to a teammate who is more open, you know that MSL is a superb coach.

  2. Hutson is so skilled, its nuts. He will be in the Makar Hughes tier pretty soon. Something happens almost everytime he's on the ice

  3. Through 8 games, we have 4 goals out of Bolduc, 4 goals out of Kappanen, 1 goal out of Dobson and 1 goal out of Demidov. Without counting assists, that's 10 goals from our new additions. Would Dvorak, Armia and Savard have gotten us those goals ?

  4. 1. Talent (speed, skill)
    2. Culture (very healthy, amazing vibes, no egos)
    3. Youth (youngest in the league with more young talent on the way)
    4. D core revamp to become one of the best in the league
    5. Management an cap structure (best in the league)

  5. There is no mystery why the Habs are good…they have Speed & Skill, Heart & Passion, enough toughness/grit, Great Blueline and good enough Goaltending…oh, they can confidently, roll 4 lines. This is what happens when an Organization lives for the Stanley Cup and have COMPETENT people who can actually BUILD a very good Team. GIVEN what’s in the pipeline and YUTE of the Team, they will get even better. It is a model NOT shared in Toronto. The RICHEST FRANCISE in the NHL is enough to satisfy the Owners and the extremely well paid Executives. How else can someone explain Captain Heartless wearing the C and hiring the man who single handed lay WRECKED the Flames. Montreal is serious and Toronto are not and the fans deserve WAY BETTER. Oh, the media in T.0. are to blame too…there all as bad as ROSE celebrating and deriding who or whatever he’s told. Toronto’s media suffer noballitis and scared to say ANYTHING negative until it comes from the Franchise first. It’s why everyone of them jumped all over Mitch…the guy who led the Team with 105pts in Regular Season…2nd behind Willy in Playoff Pts, led the Team in regular season points as well as assists and TOI. He was also their best on the PK.But, to Rose and the rest, he was the “cancer” and Captain Heartless was and still is immune to any criticism. That’s ANOTHER reason why this dumbass Franchise fails. They rich and simple don’t care!

  6. It's not just a hot start. They're a deep, talented organization and they're only getting started. I say organization because the talent in the front office, in the AHL and rest of their prospect pool is also amazing.

  7. Hughes, Gorton and the Habs' scouts have done a wonderful job. MSL is improving his coaching, he knows how to lead small talented players since he was. The whole team is tightly knit and happy.

  8. well they also won against none playoff teams from last year so lets not plan the parade yet. lets be realistic , they lost against the rangers after having a two goal lead. i am a huge habs fan but im also realistic dont listen to tsn brass that are blowing up steam. they will or would turn against the habs if they start loosing or the leaf are on a winning streak.

  9. The Habs are going to be the team to beat this year….

It's a young team with alot of skill and talent …

They are very , very, FAST ..

The Hab players are very close knit team ..

The Habs are going to go far in the Playoffs….

    Well done Montreal Canadians ❤

  10. YOu guys better adress the absolute RIGFEST that happened against the oilers…… wtf was that

  11. It's not just the obvious things that Toronto Sports Network sees on the surface. Watch how they are digging pucks out and taking it from the opponent, the hustling back-checking/acting like they want to win by the young stars (hutson, demidov, dobes), and the entire team culture set up by the management! The players worked hard all summer in Brossard (and elsewhere) and showed up ready to go.

  12. Despite the flames horrible start I don't think it's possible they end up as bad as we've seen so far.

Wolf is just too good. When you have a goalie like that you end up stealing a ton of games. Mark my words this isn't going to be an easy rebuild with that type of goaltender. You'll always be picking 6-10 range. Only picking 1st if very lucky with the lottery.

  13. Very good team, but their team Defense still needs a ton of work. Good teams will still score on them a ton, and in playoffs that means an early exit.
