The Dallas Stars are winless in four-straight games (0-3-1), but did earn a point in a 3-2 OT loss to the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night at American Airlines Center. Tonight, they begin a weekend back-to-back – with travel – as they host the Carolina Hurricanes for a 7:00 p.m. puck drop at the AAC. The Hurricanes (6-1-0) are off to a great start this season and just beat the Colorado Avalanche 5-4 in a shootout on Thursday night at Ball Arena in Denver. However, injuries are starting to pile up for the Canes, as they lost forwards William Carrier and Eric Robinson during the game against the Avalanche, adding to an injury list that already includes three defensemen Jaccob Slavin, Shayne Gostisbehere and K’Andre Miller, and goaltender Pyotr Kochetkov. On tonight’s DLLS Stars Pregame Show, we will discuss all the big storylines, take a look at the expected lineups and hear from players and coaches. Expected starting goaltenders: Jake Oettinger (DAL) vs. Brandon Bussi (CAR).
