There have been disappointments this season, but perhaps none as glaring as the uninspired play of Michael Rasmussen. How much bad play is too much?

I cringe every time he steps on the ice. No other way to put it. He looks like a deer in headlights out there.
Big Ras and Copp are a step behind always.
Ras is terrible. Every play dies on his stick. He avoids contact he doesn’t pick up the trail not tough in front of the net or just not really tough at all tbh. He’s not that good and mazur could replace him on effort alone
Up until his injury last season,he was one of the better bottom 6 players in the league. He’s been non existent to bad this year, and is likely on his way out of town.
Don’t be surprised though, if he ends up on a team like Calgary and with more opportunities, becomes a consistent 40 point player through his prime. That’s always the scary part of giving up on these big players. Bottom line in Detroit however? He’s run his course.
BTW, they will get more than people think for him. Nothing crazy, but he won’t be given away.
Ras just needs to reinvent his career in Europe 🤷
So Rasmussen had a great showing with Soderblom last season. Soderblom is struggling this season. Those two need to be together to play well. Ultimately rasmussen will get moved and play for a team like Chicago. He might do well there. He is just being pushed out
Rasmussen Copp and Compher are terrible at least Soderblom is crazy to watch his stick handling is insane and he's young he needs to be playing
