Lindy knows how to juggle hot goalies. I have faith he'll make the right decision. Doan has been Mr. Consistency already, and yeah so has Lyon. Ellis was a nice surprise, we gotta keep him hot. As much as I love UPL, I'm really not missing him right now (sorry UPL!) I liked Kozak's play, as well as Metsa. They seem like they're starting to "get it". We're looking good, boys, with these 2nd stringers. Can't wait to see Kesselring in there.

Earn your right to the blue crease, Lyon and then Ellis last night have earned their shot and they are hungry for the spot, Upl hasn't earned the right to come back right away and expect nothing to have changed and he just gets thrown right back into the starting spot, these two have played hard for this team and in return the team played hard for them, let me tell you, stop a young, up and coming forward Marco Kasper AND current red wings star Dylan Larkin on breakaways is no easy feat, and Ellis made it look like child's play. Let the hot hand roll in net, honestly if these two goalies continue their play, i wouldn't be opposed to moving UPL for some forward help, we need to give these guys some light at the end of the tunnel if they continue to play and win these games.
If upl stinks even if he's good. Use him in a trade. Many teams need a goalie. Even if we have to retain salary. Lion and Ellis and Levi are this team. We have great energy chemistry right now.. dont mess it up. If we could trade upl..we could get some more pieces. Keep the positive vibe going. Im ready for the leafs battles. Let's sweep them out of the way!
What Ellis impressed me with was that 6-man rush at the end of the third. They peppered him but he stood firm and kept our lead.

Born and bred buffalo fan nut. Ive lived in tampa bay for half my life now. I can tell you that the Lighning fans and tampa fans on general are about as fairweather as it gets..
They dont complain online because they dont actually care. They just like winning.
I am so glad to see Kozak doing well, the kid plays exactly like Lindy wants the entire team to play. UPL had a good game in Rochester, we'll see what happens with the goal situation. Could the acquisition of Lyon and Ellis prove to be the best move that Adams has done to turn the franchise around? Doan now has more goals than Peterka!

I've been seeing and feeling this, this year's team feels like a home team. They are definitely energized by the crowd this year. Away games seem like the boys are still looking for a reason to play hard.

Pretty revisionist about Granato, the man put in Anderson and Levi over UPL. Not sure where that came from, but it’s inaccurate

I feel pretty good about our goal tending situation right now. Lyon has done very well, Ellis providing some excitement for us, and you have UPL who has had stretches where he's been fantastic. And you have Levi continuing to learn and improve his game. As a Sabres fan, you have to be a little excited right now with our goalie depth if it holds together.
