I remember seeing a couple six and seventh round picks pop off for the Red Wings… They were playing together and affectionately called the Euro twins
Let's not forget the ass chewing McLellan gave them after the disastrous opener against Les Habitants; clearly it was, let us say, "motivational"
I don't want to take anything away from the wings they played great. However the mistakes that McDavid and dry saddle made the other night I'm pretty sure they want to get the manager fired.

I was saying from the day he was drafted that Finnie would be something special. Glad to see the kid getting his laurels now, hope he can tear it up and take a Calder home.
What's so impressive is he's been feeding Larkin and Raymond. Leave him on that line until he gives you a reason to take him off.
The hockey IQ is becoming more apparent. Finnie had a great play with Larkin against the Sabres for his third goal of the season
