  1. Blackwood is younger and bigger. Wedgewood will never be the starter IMO unless Blackwood severely regresses. If Wedge is playing great and Blackwood mediocre then they might favor Wedgie for short periods, maybe especially in the playoffs, but not for a month+ long go as the starter.

  2. He already lost it. It's only a few weeks, so everyone will expect blackwood to gain chances to take the net. But ask Bednar, it's clearly already morphed into a battle that's up in the air again. Blackwood didn't lose the job, but Wedgewood fought for it, and it's fair enough. 100% up in the air as we speak. It's nobody's job.
