Found it interesting that the Preds just sent Brady Martin back to juniors and Kindel is still cruising right along. I know it’s way too early, but a lot of scouts got the Kindel evaluation wrong, that is pretty clear.

Fellas, I think we all can agree that regardless of what we would like to change, seeing this team compete hard, play smart hockey, and mesh well together is a breath of fresh air. It's fun to watch this team again, and we haven't had this in the past four seasons.
Justin Brazeau is blowing my mind this season, I can't even lie. When they signed him I thought nothing of it, I was like "just another guy," but he's been fantastic. I doubt his current point pace is sustainable, but still, he's playing so well.
It's amazing how playing defense in front of a goaltender works. Something the pens did not do much of last season. This team is a joy to watch. Speaking of wbs. 5-0 after tonight. Murashov looked great again. I think the penguins may have another undrafted gem in atley calvart. He's been phenomenal for wbs to start the season
I know, I know, I know. Probably unsustainable and overachieving. But is it possible at this point they could be at least a little better than we expected?

See, I have this niche that some pens games that go on while I take a nap end up as blowouts just like this one. The 11 goal whupping on Detroit awhile back was another prime example that happened as I took a good power nap before that one. I must use this power responsibly. Sadly missed the milestone goals though, guess that's the price I gotta pay. lol
