Yay the Sens won. however, Lycksell scores his first goal so he got rewarded with the press box.. Poor cousin on the top line, ok that worked but it still makes little sense. If I were Spence I'd ask to be traded or put on waivers. Anyway, Go Sens Go.
Cool they destroyed them.There is a player that they should consider it's Pavel Zacha.He is a player you could get for little cost.
He was a second line left wing in Boston until Marchand left and was producing.He is middle six caliber and they have him on the fourth line.
It won't cost much.

What a culture win. I know the Caps were gassed, and they went down 2 men early but that Kleven hit was such a reset for this team. They had been playing the right way again (finally) the last two games and I feel like a game like tonight's is what turns the non-believers into true bel-Greeners; The system works and is providing them so many great chances. The boys just needed to trust in it and flipping finish their shots.
Holy Hannah, Dylan Cozens' stewardship of the team with Brady out of the lineup has been so good. He's the workhorse from Whitehorse EVERY shift and it flipping shows. Love that Stutzle can have a quieter night and Rich Cuz and Pinner are out there making teams pay. Screw them charts and cards!
Happy with almost everything in that game, truly, but Sprinkles showing the boys his appreciation for them keeping the caps to 3 shots in 30 minutes by crossing the red line — chefs kiss. You know he's Kleven's biggest fan and watching Klev answer the Ridly Grieg hit, right in front of him, must have just fired Ully right the fuck up. Everyone rides for everyone. Brady in the presser had to just be losing it!
I think Lycksell is going to be in the lineup again soon — probably not against boston — but Klev just plays so much better when he's paired with Kola. Even in that scrum after the K-Train came through, Matinpalo was right there. And that scrum was just big dudes who throw hands… it's not like the Capitals have 3 Wilson's to just get in there. Kola may have had some bad looks in those first two games with Dodge as his linemate (away games too) but he's found a confidence and consistency to his game and his pairing with Klev is just so solid. Gunna be tough seeing how Spence fits in to this d-core but injuries are bound to happen.

This team was always significantly better than many of the previous results suggested. Whilst there is still work to do, and one ought to resist getting carried away with this result, this game offers much to build off. GSG!!!!!
