Keep your head up boys, you looked good tonight. Youll get your defence back and itll come together. Loving the lines, stick with it!
Only Toronto fans would drive the best player on the team for 8 years out of town. Have fun missing the playoffs.
Free loss, Jays Won WOOOOOOOO๐ฆ ๐๐๐๐๐
Defence by comity and fast defensive zone exits is what this team needs to do, stop playing fancy in your own end, its so obvious.
Start the REBUILD ASAP.
I gotta say one thing, the leafs actually looks like they tried tonight. Aside from the Defence it actually looked like a very well played game. The defence didnโt feel because Morgan and Tanev werenโt there though. I canโt act like them not being there isnโt a factor, but a lot of very sloppy defensive plays from both the blue line and the forward core. All in all, you got this boys pull it together. Definitely missed Tanev and Reilly. Mermis was like -3 and looked shell shocked at times. It was fun to see the Space Slug jersey again.
Becoming the laughing stock of a city unfortunately.
We have one good team in Toronto the Jay's.
Disappointing loss, but I will say, I thought the leafs did play decent and held ozone pressure much better tonight. The line change was a part of that. Mattews needed a shift from the old style. Theres no filling marner, gotta change the style of play. Line ups coming together. I think we can expect a bit more of rough around the edges hockey until this team starts clicking. gotta remember, they got 4 new players in the offence. 1/3 of the team changed. Takes time for all the pieces to click properly. It'll come
Jays will win ๐ championship while Leafs miss the playoffs.
