  1. Vancouver is having an outstanding road trip. It could be a character defining stretch which could set the tone for the season. They looked completely dysfunctional heading into the season but they could make some noise in the West.

  2. Jack did you see the goal that counted between the Leafs and Kracken when Seattle scored which was should’ve been a textbook call of goalie interference

  3. Dickinson has been getting the rough end of a lot of hits for about 2 years – he deserves some time off

  4. Reichel, Kaiser, KK, Slaggert, Nazar, Lev, Crevier have all paid dues in AHL. Greene, Moore, Lardis, will most likely do the same. Frondell in Sweden, Kantserov in Russia till Spring cup of coffee. This is GMKD track record. Exception obviously Bedard and Rinzel. Not me saying, its the 3 year track record of what Blackhawks have been doing. Kids pay dues in Rockford and placeholder vets like AA, Hall, Martinez, Maroon, Mrazek, Anderson, Brodie, get icetime UNTIL they get supplanted by GMKD youth movement. The young guys MUST earn it. Moore must beat out Slaggert. Greene must beat out Lafferty. Lardis must beat out Dach. Frondell beat out Dickenson. Thats this years “next wave”. GMKD is fairly predictable.
BTW, if they are still on this team after trade deadline, I see Lafferty,
Dach, non tendered. Murphy traded at deadline (good soldier deserves a chance at Cup). Foligno gets the Maroon/Martinez treatment. GMKD is predictable. Thats 3 or 4 “vet placeholder” spots on Blackhawks roster ready for the youth players to Earn those roster spots. Again, GMKD is predictable and is running a playbook with his drafted players..

  5. This team, ALL the young players are on fire! Exciting to watch! Unexpected players are ON IT! GREAT goalending!Bedard, NazarWOW! Great top 2 lines.

  6. Jack with a full healthy squad the coaches recently moved Donato to the third line, and Dach up on the first line with Bedard. I don’t think
Lardis is quite ready yet, I wonder if he’s used to the physicality of pro game yet. Lardis did look pretty good in preseason games. They sayLardis play away from puck looks good, indicating perhaps he needs some work , evaluation on his defensive game or still needs to earn the trust of coaching staff on his checking ability.
Nice they gave Dach a look in top 6 but he’s not long term solution in top 6..
Don’t you think the Hawks do have a spot in the top six? Personally, I think Frondell will get a look at that spot when he comes up in the spring. But that is months and 60 games from now. What do you think?
