hope the Leafs get a win today as they face the Sabres again in this back to back games- this game is here in TO at 5p- Scotia Bank Arena- it is an 82 reg season- and lots of room to change the course- but, any team doesn't want to get too far back
Every loss it starts with 'everyone was awful then you proceed to list half the team who had a good game. So you think it's just thr players aren't a good fit for each other? It really seems like they just don't gell well, regardless of ability.

Fun anecdote to distract from the misery: I’m originally from the Boston area but became a Jays fan because of a special moment.
I got invited to a Sox game as a childhood cancer patient and got to go on the field, and the Jays players as the away team were awesome to me while the Sox players basically ignored me.
Not a Leafs fan. I think if they keep playing this way, either Berube job security starts to come in question, or Matthews has the C stripped. Matthews is the wrong player to be Captain of the team.

Regardless of anything, if you watch the highlights, you can clearly see Dakota Joshua scream "LET'S FUCKING GO" after his goal, and I love that for him. The energy was great, and I think once he integrates into the team, he's going to bring some of that passion we're missing
What else can be done for the Leafs? so far, they have played 8 games….6 of those all at home and tommorow at home again, And worse, they are playing dog teams, absolute easy schedule!!! No Carolina, no vegas, noDallas, no Washington,no Winnipeg…Look at their schedule and see who they have played so far!!! You couldnt get it any easier than this!
i question the games they did win. The problem with the Leafs are the freakin media. The Toronto media always makes them and this team seem as if they are hockey Gods and the LEAFS ARE THE CENTER OF THE HOCKEY UNIVERSE, This team is ……'' MEH……NOT REALLY BAD….NOT ALL THAT GOOD EITHER!!! This has got nothing to do with Leaf fans not caring because the blue jays are in the world series. thats just more excuses for this sloppy play. I lose a bit of respect for most of the Leafs players each year. This year, I might lose all respect for them. These aren’t true hockey players. They’re not even likable let alone respectable. Some are weak pretty boys. Some are the type that play well on the final year of their contract but, once they get their money, they disappear. Some are moody little pouters that have a “take their puck and go home” attitude. They’re selfish man-babies that are playing an “every man for themselves” type of hockey. All of them are soft. They’re gutless. No grit whatsoever. Pathetic. I really don’t like most of the players anymore. Honestly, I would be much happier to see a rebuild just to get most if these losers off my team.
Why are you talking about this meaningless game when the Jays are playing for the World Series and you clearly care about the Jays more right now? Are you paying somebody right now?

Leafs Nation: make all the excuses you want. Short & sweet. You lost to the Sabres. The Buffalo Sabres. Like it or not. Marner leaving forced the beginning of the rebuild. It doesn't get better. Like the Brian Burke era you are in the demise of the Shanahan plan. Your just in the destruction couple years before management except it and then the sell off begins… Your not going to like these termoil couple of years getting to rock bottom
