Yegor’s air hockey

On April 11, 2025, Yegor Sharangovich contributed a pivotal goal in the Calgary Flames’ 4–2 victory over the Minnesota Wild. Early in the second period, Sharangovich deftly deflected a waist-high shot from Martin Pospisil while driving to the net, doubling Calgary’s lead to 2–0. This goal marked his second in as many games, highlighting his offensive resurgence at a crucial juncture in the season.

This win was significant for the Flames, as it kept their playoff aspirations alive. With a record of 38–27–14 and 90 points, Calgary sits just three points behind the Wild and St. Louis Blues, both holding the final wild-card spots in the Western Conference. The Flames have three games remaining—one more than both Minnesota and St. Louis—providing a narrow but vital opportunity to secure a postseason berth.
