The best game they have played maybe all season. The results will go Stars way before long if they play like that. Gotta do better with faceoffs tonight in that aspect seriously got outplayed.
Obviously not the outcome we were hoping for but this is the first game I thought the stars were generally the better team all 3 periods. The kings were gifted a 5 on 3 with a bad call when the stars were in full command and the ricochet goal off the skate is what it is. You have to assume losing a game like this will be an outlier.
This is Heiskanen's 8th NHL season and I think he's actually regressing. He's one of these guys who is super talented but does not want the puck on his stick. They need to get him off the power play.
