  1. Any fans of the original retro teams still upset when they see the Sell-out jerseys on another towns players? Congrats to the Hurricanes on the win + the marketing guys for fooling us into parting with yet more $$$$$s for jerseys they hardly ever sport!!

  2. Gutsy win for the Canes down several important players on a long road trip. Getting 2 points when you’re badly outplayed shows some fortitude.

  3. Canes are Category 5 right now. Hoping they cool off before playing CBJ. But man, hard not to root for this team year after year. Canes and CBJ in the east!

  4. These throwback uniforms are so cool!! I was born in 2002 so after the two franchises moved to their new cities. Connecticut is my birth state!! I was born in and lived in Stamford until I was six years old. Stamford is nowhere close to Hartford. It’s an 80 mile drive. My family moved back to Long Island in July of 2008 and I became an Islanders fan in 2011 when I was nine years old.

  5. It's funny, the Canes constantly deal with criticism about their power play…and yet despite having far more high end players, the AVS powerplay is garbage as well. Crazy

  6. It really is disappointing the nhl hasn’t brought back these teams, there both amazing city and there jerseys are some of the best to ever be on the ice

  7. These jerseys are disrespectful to the people who are Canes and Avalanche fans. Also to Quebec and Whaler fans. It's not like they just changed names and you're using throwbacks. They're in different states and country now. Just dumb

  8. The Avs showed a lot of character coming back. If Anderson hadn't been so good and those nitpicky penalties towards the end, they probably would have pulled it out.

  9. Avs NEED to get better on the power play if we want to beat Dallas. It’s a must there’s no reason it can’t be amazing with Nate marty and makar

  10. Wow what a game! I'm very proud AVS returned to the game after 1:4. Big Val is КРАСАВЧИК😊 nice teamwork of all players. And the last one, retro uniforms are perfect and so beautiful.

  11. Is this a preview of prospective new expansion teams with the previous cities. Quebec wants another NHL franchise back in their city.

  12. Still only us & Vegas with no REAL losses-great game between 2 great teams. Carolina is legit this yr-signifigantly better than previous versions that made ECFs. Now if we can only get BEDNAR to KEEP NICHUSKIN ON PP1-IVE BEEN SCREAMING IT SINCE GAME 3 VS DALLAS! But to come back from 4-1 against that team was tremendous. In most places Carolina is tri Cup favorites-tied in odds with Edmonton & Florida-Avs are tied for 4th with Dallas-barely behind those 3,& just ahead of Vegas. But to survive the end of regulation-tremendous job by Minor,& the PK. Would've been tough to get nothing after that comeback. Wedgewood was due a stinker-but Minor played great in getting us a HUGE pt. AVS have 5 wins,2 great OT losses(Dallas,& Carolina),& 1 good OT loss(at Utah)-or REALLY 5 wins,& 3 ties.

That despite getting screwed by NHL replay guys in Toronto,& Mormon refs in Salt Lake. More importantly-Avs have been the better team in 7 of 8 games.(only exception when we beat Utah at Ball but Wedgie kinda stole it). It's absolutely amazing how bad Carolina,& Colorados PP has been this yr but yet they only have 1 combined REAL loss. That shows ya how good these teams are. When they fix their PPs,& they both will-this could easily be a Cup Final preview. Need to get a win in Boston cuz then ya have 3 tough games with NJ(twice) & at Vegas. But other than the PP,& finicky overtime-ya have to be thrilled what they are doing so far. AVS got a great overtime loss…Nuggets got a disgusting OT loss-led by as big of gag as you'll ever see by the best player on the planet-Jokic. (with some choking help from Murray)

Both our Ball teams lost in OT…but I couldn't feel more different about the 2 games. AVS had a very good night,& ARE ON PACE FOR 134 POINTS FOR ANY MORONS WHO WANNA WHINE ABOUT ANOTHER SHOOTOUT/OT LOSS,& are still undefeated for all intensive purposes. 134 points would be an NHL record for anybody foolish enough not to be thrilled about 5-0-3 start where our backup goalie has started every game,& our PP has been utter garbage. PP & 0-3 in overtime/SO is all you can remotely be upset about big picture.Anybody who wouldn't take 5-0-3 before the season is a spoiled moron. And overtime/SO are basically gimmicky, dumb luck. Such a long season,& injuries, trade deadline -so much can,& will change. And so many teams that could get there. But right now-id predict that was a Cup Final preview we just saw.

  13. Love our jerseys!! Great come back game AVS!! We picked up 1 point! Awesome,2 points Big Val!🏑🏑💯🔥❤️💙🥅💙❤️

  14. who else is so sick and tired of the officiating in the NHL? Who else is so sick of all the gambling ads, sponsorships and hundreds of overlays… That somehow the odds for the winning team seem to always stack in favor of whatever calls go a teams way?..

The entire league and ALL the refs need to be investigated. An outside source needs to be looking into the league. Something FISHY is going on.
