  1. Might have some mistakes, but I tried.

Philip, my question is for you. Peter DeBoer was saying yesterday, how difficult it is to create an offensive play in the playoffs, and in this series, in particular. Do you share his sentiments, and why is it difficult like that?

Uhh… Listen, I fully agree. I don’t know. It’s the system both of us have. Umm… we’re solid defensively. We don’t give away a lot. We give away some shots, but often from the outside. Umm, I don’t know… it’s a more of a close series. The more it goes on, the more it’s gonna be close.

Uhh… Good morning guys, my question is for Phil. Umm… Phillip is there… obviously you’re a matchup that is pretty tight with Max, the trio of Max during the entire series. Were you able to benefit from the knowledge you have of Max’s game, since you were his center for so many years. Did it help you in your defensive cover when you face him?

Not really. He plays with good players as well. They have a bit of a different style, his line at least… *inaudible*… so yes I know him, I know he’s an excellent shooter but…. Uhh… I can’t say that I know him personally, the small details to affect his game.

Uhhh… Question for Phillip: Phillip, since last match, your opponents have other goalies, and we felt them play a style that got closer to the (*uncertain*: row), more tight defensively. With a 2 to 3 that starts this evening. Do you expect to see a “different beast” in front of you, due to what they did the last game and the new goalie?

Uhh… good question. I don’t know how they’re gonna end up, but we don’t want to wait to see what they’ll do. It is necessary to really continue to play our style, hard… (*uncertain*: we will try to find a goal as well)…. So it’s gonna be a big challenge for our team this evening. And yes, they are getting closer and closer to our style as well. (*uncertain: that’s what’s happening), they have to get closer to us, and not us to them.

  2. Danault's face after the Lehner question to Caufield, You guys fucked up !!! beast mode activated

  3. Note: The Habs extended their record last night: 12 Stanley Cup Games in a row where the opponents did not score any power play goals. Let that accomplishment sink in and then consider how important Phillip Danault is.

  4. Cole: "..anytime you can get one up on that guy, you let him know."

I liked that. Kind of slipped through the cracks but made me smile.
