When will coaches tell their teams…we don't want to get into OT against the Habs?
Flopping around Kadri??? That's not Habs culture, no thanks.
Dobson didn't take less to come to Montreal, bonus laiden contract saved a lot of real money AAV be dawned. He will receive more cash than a straight $10 million per year salary.
Let's hope Bouchard is still drunk and Nightmare Night part deux is in the cards tonight.
Calgary dominated much of the territorial play. Habs rather lucky to win this game. 😊
Kap has 4 goals on the season playing 2c , that line is providing good secondary scoring . Dach needs to be replaced cant stay healthy , Laine cant Crack the top 6 and he has to be a top 6 player to be effective he has no spot on the team anymore . Kadri isn't the answer , to old to expensive to much term on his contract , cant become a hage roadblock .
Greta fact that you don't sell out to the gambling sites, please don't ever do. You rock guys
Kardi is to injury prone. So no to Kadri
Would you go T. Thompson out of Buffalo for 2c, for a 1round pick and 2 secondsin next draft ?
If Monty gets blown out tonight against the oilers because Edmonton is due for a consisive victory hab fans will be calling for Fowler.
38:25 … sounds to me like you are hurting him further. Lol
Martin St-Louis knows the difference between an execution/physical error and bad intention/decision error.
All players make execution errors, but if their intention was good its not something a coach needs to adress, its like punishing your kid for dropping something by mistake vs intentionally doing something bad.
Dobson’s slip up was half decision and half execution that went wrong, but if his execution didn’t fail because of a poke check, nobody would be talking about it. His decision was a bit risky, sure, but if the players behind him had been more alert, again, nobody talks about it today. (Both Carrier and Newhook could have backed him up on that play), but they were already out of position.
40:45 Shaun is pissed. Lol
43:10 i don't think they relate to Lucifer Morningstar and the mojo thing. It's usually about momemtum. Nothing else matters. Most important word in hockey history.
Theodore comment does not help Montembeault one bit. I agree with Starr on this one, this comment is laced with detrimental purposed. Only in Montreal this is a debate
This is a huge game for Monty tonight, hopefully he can handle the pressure🙏🏼
As for the 2C, let’s also hope that Dach can find his footing.. he’s our best option for the next little while.. (I’d like Veleno to keep pushing too!!)
Picking up where they left off last season. Last season's momentum.
I thought Staf had a all round good game last night. He's a beast when he gets going
Oops @ Marco exposing Shaun's blind spot at 35:15
16:54 Marco what are you talking about lmao, Last Year the Flames almost made the playoffs they were VERY competitive. They were not even close to how bad they are this season. If the flames play like last season Kadri still is a 25-30 goal guy… This season they have been horrible in all areas.
I do agree tho that we shouldn’t go after him, But I’m sorry I cannot agree that this drop off is his fault, It’s 100% the teams fault as a collective, There has been many chances where his line mates couldn’t finish and if they had he would be a PPG player right now.
After being awake until after 6 am. BST for Calgary, I doubt that I will be awake for the Oilers.
I'm looking for a Montembault bounce back tonight. If we come out of this with a point, I'm going to be satisfied. Anything more will be a bonus.
GHG.
P.S. If I win the lottery, I'll be booking flights to Montreal for the next live show. 😊😊❤❤❤😊😊
Totally forgot about the fact that you guys had a live show yesterday. Happy to hear it went well.
I had to work unfortunately. What a game last night, Wolf is amazing. Demidov with the patience in OT. 3on3 OT is simply broken for certain teams, the ones that have a top heavier team usually have a massive advantage.
I'm happy that it's looking like Habs will be one of those teams. The future is bright, I was hoping they'd have dominated Calgary but Wolf was spectacular.
Nice ticker. Shame about the typo on McLean's ad…
McDavid in 2 yrs, Oilers will be junk and the Habs will have tons of cap space, who wouldn't want to play on a team that will be a powerhouse…BOOK IT
Mr. Starr was questioning the Habs about only having 3 wins in regulation. The games against NASH & CAL, the Habs dominated. Aakarov & Wolf basically earned their team a point.
I don't think Monty is healthy.
The OT wins is basically top end skill. I don't understand why that hasn't translated to PP success.
Larry Murphy did 76 pts in 80 games in his rookie season however Brian Leetch did do 71 pts in 68 games so he did have better than a point per game in 88/89
Kadri is leading the Flames in scoring, which isn't saying much lol.. I still want him. Don't you guys think having him would help Demidovs development?
Complete agree on our PK, Newhook and Evans were spectacular.
I agree we need to solidify the 2C… but, Kadri is NOT the answer. He was not impressive at all last night, nor all season thus far. Let the more desperate teams over pay for him while habs young guns continue to grow and improve.
