That fight sucked. I think Ross just wants the Gordie Howe hattrick. Although at :14 it looks like Michael says something to Ross, perhaps in regards to the announcer saying he was cut
Great example of the warriors code here. McCarron knows Ross wants the Gordie and obliges. McCarron gets cut on his visor and lets Ross know. Ross pushes him to the wall so the linesmen can get in and break it up without it looking too much like McCarron tapped out saving face.

I think Mac gave him the fight for the Gordie Howe. Highly doubt Ross wanted the bleeding to stop the fight.
