Quinn didn't grind it out during the summer as he was anticipating this harsh shortened season with the Olympics this year. That is a smart move and as a result he looks to be not on top of his game like he is usually. Same thing with Kane as that is common with a player of his vintage. I expect they will be both better in the near future. They didn't play well in their own zone and the injuries took a toll on the team. Lanker has not been good so far this year as well.

Foote has lost it as far as deployment of EP40 , Garland , Debrusk Pettersson set up Garland for the Canucks’ only goal a minute into the game, and he was one of just two Canucks who wasn’t on the ice for a single goal against. Yet all these players are getting less and less ice time every game . Foote you’re not coaching the Abbotsford Canucks ,you’re coaching the Vancouver Canucks . I know Joe Lebate won his first faceoff in 10 years but EP40 , Jake and Garly can deliver the mail if you give them more ice time !!!
