Hearing from one of our premier offensive pieces that this team isn’t capable of putting up 4 or 5 points in a game is pretty disappointing and frustrating. Basically saying that playing a high powered offensive team is an automatic loss unless Saros and the defense plays out of their mind for 60 minutes. If that’s the case, it might be another long season for us to watch.
I knew that scoring was possibly going to be a problem when they got rid of Duchene and didn’t replace his scoring ability. If they are not going to send Brady Martin down eventually then they definitely need to be looking for someone out there to add with scoring value. Just my opinion.
