Stop saying this is a great team or even a good team.nThey are a mediocre team TRYING to be a great team. Another slow start to the season, so lessons NOTlearned. Every team around us seems to have gotten better, Detroit, Montreal, now Buffalo….hello? Goaltending is not up to par, defensive lapses, we look slow now. So far from a cup its not even funny.
I don't even care about Spence, that was just the last straw in a terrible effort defensively by this already bad defensive team. They are slow, weak, and not up to the task most nights.
The team has been all talk this season with no action to back it up. They're playing like they expect to make the playoffs again despite saying the opposite

I’m glad for Pinto but he is out shinning Stutzle who is suppose to be an elite player which I have never seen. Leadership comes from the top and when the coach is giving them optional skate days instead of practice and you’re not holding guys accountable. What do you expect. I said from the start that green isn’t the coach for Ottawa. It seems they took the cheapest coach available. When does the accountability start for Staios and andlaurer. Always excuses. No way we make the playoffs this year. I think Montreal has jumped above us in the rebuild

Starting in December last season they were really good defensively.. now they suck at it.
