Isaac Howard scored his first goal as an Oiler in a 3-2 victory over the Jets. Ty Emberson netted the game-winning goal and Noah Philp tallied two assists.
Some online pundits like Strudwick are pulling the Savoie bandwagon all by themselves…well heres a newsflash….Ike and Savoie will one day be Teammates on the big Club so they will ALWAYS be pulling each other forward and to greater heights…. if one fits now and one fits a little later it matters not this is the NHL not a Backyard Rink hug-in and making it means a lot of factors must line up and many of those are 100% out of control of the player,so lets enjoy watching the young guys learn together, and yes that was a big league One-timer by the Iceman, Pre-Seasons always fun to watch. One day soon I hope to see Ike slipping passes through D-men to Savoie as he busts the O-zone in full flight.
