A true #1 Goalie doean't need to be sheltered. We need to realize Monty as a Stop gap measure, I honestly don't see him as a legit #1, I compare him to Steve Penny.

I didn't catch every moment but when I saw Struble on the ice I actually liked what I saw most of the time. Definitely more than what I've seen of Xhekaj this season, and I want Xhekaj to work out for us, but I like Struble and think he has more upside. We just need to give him games.
I think Arber has looked the best he's looked since his first camp this season, but he also needs games to reach his ceiling too.
As much as I do like our top 4 dmen, if Kent Hughes made some tough decisions to move a #4-5 in order to make room, 1 step back 2 steps forward, I'd be accepting of that, because I do believe in both these guys.
At the end of the day you do need at least 7, but I'd prefer that 7 be a veteran instead of one of these two guys.

The habs have nothing as trade assets , none that should be traded . Guhle and Monty are the only ones with a bit of value and worth trading , none of the prospects have enough value to aquire anything decent , if the habs want a 2nd line center they’ll have to package picks and prospects and I agree with Marco , it’s not gonna include Trudeau
Regardless , Montreal will have to trade away players from the AHL , even if it’s for late picks or they’re gonna lose them for nothing due to congestion
And why is it always talks about a second line center ? The habs will have tons of cap space , so why not pay a little more and get another 1st line center

Why is Caufield not playing left circle on the first wave? It was his spot before Laine arrived and this year they're not on the same wave and he doesn't get his spot back?
