Had hopes that Laine could turn it around this year – given how hard he worked and coming back from whatever he had to deal with. Hopefully he'll still be able to do something this season
Chytl likes to admire his pass and that’s what gets him every time.
Laine…!? It's over ☠️
A fully expected outcome for Chytil
He is a good player, seems like a good person
But a concussion prone athlete has a very short career time span.
I hope he gets better, but as a person who also has a history of concussions…. Not a positive outlook
Laine is a detriment to the team it seems
Canadians dressing room must be in good spirits not having that loser looming around and bringing everyone now. He’s been there long enough that the whole team probably hates his guys by now like every other team he has played for.
Garland finally collected on that debt from Dickinson. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes say hi to the IR for Chytil.
Liane suffers from 'cement' legs. He has not changed his skating style and as such, he's too slow, especially on a team with young fast skating buzzsaw Montreal Canadiens.
True…….Liane has a howitzer of a shot, but opposition teams have armed themselves with bullet proof vests that can stop a howitzer shot now, when Liane is on the ice. Liane is a very one dimensional player with no other tools in that toolbox of his.
I believe we are looking at what was once considered a through-bred race horse trying to compete with a car on a highway. The horse will always lose.
Liane looks sad now, very frustrated.
The game has passed Liane because he never realized the game always changes and players have to change with it.
Time waits for no man.
The secret to success is learning that you have to always run as hard as you can because there aren't any real Finish Lines in life.
You have to drag players like Lane Hutson, Demidov and Sid Crosby from the ice because they know that secret.
As for Dach, I predicted many times in my comments that he rushed to play too soon and he would be forced to sit out games by the end of November. Kirby never even made it to Halloween.
I suspect his MCL is more of a problem than his ACL repair simply because of the nature of the game of hockey and the turns he has to make. There is no way that the knee is reasonably healed to play hockey. Even if Kirby underwent stem cell therapy and platelet therapy at the same time, using a whole body vibration machine to activate and exercise his fast twitch muscles in the knee area was there enough time to get that knee ready for the stresses on the knee. I am quite sure the team had Kirby in the oxygen chamber several times a weak during his rehabilitation phase to supersaturate the body with high oxygen levels to drastically speed up the healing process.
Unfortunately, the body works similar to a plant. If it grows too fast, it becomes tall with a weak stem. Do that and you are setting up for a disaster to happen upon which you can never recover from. I am quite sure Kirby and the team has de everything they could reasonably do to advance his recovery.
Unfortunately for Dach his contract is done this year.
Montreal can be patient and wait until March or April when Dach's knee is about 75% of it's former self and see if he has a future with the team or has good value for trades or the team can rush him and cross their fingers.
I am sorry but maybe they should keep Laine away from the team. Morale of the team is high, I am affraid of the effect he may have
During the Caps-Canucks game, the Caps broadcast crew was talking about how they thought Chytil's career was over due to concussions when he was with the Rangers, and that would be two concussions ago. Chytil needs to retire.
His shot will still beat goalies often even if he was snake bitten so far this year. We saw it last year, 15 PP goals which was close to leading the league in only like 40 games.
That said he’s unplayable. You’re absolutely right the game has passed him by.
This is great for the Habs actually, don’t need to appease a guy that wasn’t pulling his weight on PP and not bringing anything at 5v5 that was remotely close to an offensive chance.
As for Canucks this was expected and I’m surprised Chytil made it 5 games before going into the dark room again. I thought he played in the Metro, it’s as if he’s surprised that Wilson would be looking for an open ice hit.
Keep your head up kid!
I’m sure Wilson really cares about being public enemy number one in Vancouver 😂
Laine is a liability. He is too slow and is not helping his line mates.
