I want to give a huge shout-out to the best contract on this team right now. KAIDEN GUHLE.
This guy has become a complete stud for the HABS! He chips in on offence. He'll die defending the team, AND his teammates! And he'll take on ANY body. All for 5.5 AAV? If he were signed for 8 years, it would be an absolute robbery of a contract. Mark my words that when he becomes a UFA, he's getting P A I D. If nothing super unfortunate happens, GOD FORBID. He's gonna get his due! And God help us if MTL loses their mind and lets this guy slip away. Hutson is the ONLY D that is on his level of value on this team. IMHO

I’m surprised the nhl doesn’t CW strike your vids for using 5 sec clips. I’ve heard they’re relentless… I don’t know the rules tho. Maybe it’s clearly stated somewhere. It’s nuts to think that they wouldn’t want cooperative advertising and promotion of the game they profit from. I get not being able to livestream games. But reviewing and commenting on games should absolutely be encouraged by the NHL. Maybe up to 15 second clips or something. To show breakdown of interesting plays and goals. Idk. Just a thought in case their lawyers are here in the comments. 🍻

That Marchessault play leading to the tying goal reminds me of that Patriots interception in the Superbowl. Instead of giving the ball to Lynch they lost the game. But for the Habs it was a pick 6!
Bud, I've been a fan for a while, I remember when you were a young pup, starting out, I see what you're doing to appease the youtube and nhl gods. Talk about the game but stay clear in the fair use zone as much as possible. Buddy, you do a good job, I appreciate you, keep it up good sir, I like the effort for newer tubers, yer a good lad!
While I cannot deny Guhle is just another Petry here (same mistakes done in a similar manner) , Hutson has had that innate ability to cover for most of them. Matheson has gotten no better than last year , a few 'lucky breaks' here and there , but nothing more. Carrier is the only one carrying this team defensively here. Time for Marty to do a 're-evaluation' of "Who Is Deserving Here" defensively , when doing his next line choices. Go HABs.

we have to keep our feet on the ground… we have played only shitty teams which should be worse than us… the only better team was toronto so I would say lets hold our horses and wait after we play some better teams because it can be huge reality check
So as someone from the UK who fell in love with the New York rangers, I’ve been watching a lot of these canadiens since the play offs last season, and I think I’m being converted to a habs fan, such exciting players with their heart in the right place! I’m hoping this team can have a deep playoff run!

As a bruins fan makes me smile in a weird way seeing the habs come back to form. Dobes is a legit franchise piece looking like. Hopefully the rivalry really fires up again in years to come if we don’t permanently bury ourselves with Sweeney and co at the wheel

I'm liking the team this year, and I've been a fan since 1966. But they can't spend the season relying on late-game heroics. The loss to the Rangers exposed weaknesses that need to be worked on.
