Predators coaching woes* it takes opposing coaches 2 minutes to figure out how to expose our system.

Putting Stamkos on the top line has made the team performance worse. Make a change
Emma shared my thoughts, it's the system / coaching. Special teams coaching needs help & Brunette has to adapt the system to the players on the current roster if he wants to keep his job. The whole team can't go cold without locker room or coaching issues.

Andrew Brunette has coached very good power plays on previous clubs. The one difference between NJ and FLA compared to NSH, is that NJ and FLA were/are legit talented rosters. Until that changes, it is unfair to expect a real change. And in regards to our ‘23/‘24 team, it is important to remember that we were a middling to poor team for majority of that year. Only a Cinderella point streak got us the wildcard.
Bruno looks like a man who's getting a LOT of good sleep.
Look, no hate on vange or ozzy, but when we took out Martin/kemmell, and put those two in, we reverted back to how we played last year. Once wood comes back I think ozzy will get sent back down, but they at least gave us some juice. We just look so slow and so out dated compared to most teams. Bring those two back, and once wood comes back from injury, I think we’d actually have some jump. I mean wood had 5 points in 2 games in the pre season
Brunette can't do it. Svechkov has drive and talent, yet was instantly sub-planted by Haula when he was acquired. Haula has played well with Bunting and Marchessault (until the latter got hurt), but the Preds are overdue for one of their good youngsters to blossom. Worse still, Stamkos is not currently a player who will make others around him better, and hasn't meshed with Svechkov. Then there's Evangelista, who missed training camp and has never really shown a scoring touch to warrant automatic preference over Kemell or Wood. The Predators have about a half-dozen good prospects in Milwaukee, but will not improve if they keep turning them into Tomasinos and Tolvanens.
