Brandon Saad got the first look on the top line with Jack Eichel and Ivan Barbashev, with Mark Stone placed on injured reserve. Can Akira Schmid handle a starter’s load with Hill out? Carl Lindbom is projected to be called up from the Henderson Silver Knights if Hill misses time.
