  1. 2nd line seems like it wants a shooter to allow the guys in front of the net to work, but it has 3 that aren't shoot first players. Wedgewood has done this in the past, and it's very good in short bursts, but doesn't sustain at that level. We saw it in dallas when ottinger was hurt. I think he is great, we should be stoked to have him on the team, but unless blackwood is playing bad he should be starting

  2. Listen I was born in Ohio but raised an Avs fan starting after the move down from Quebec when the rivalry with Detroit kicked off since I was raised to hate all things Michigan. Having said that they need to not change anything tonight I have only gotten a chance to see the Avs win when they came to Columbus twice 2025 and 2023 the rest of the games they have fallen apart and or rested a bunch of guys after clinching the playoffs had injuries issues or what have you. Tonight I get to take my first child to his first game (5months old) and will be right behind the bench and he needs to see a win lol

  3. ive been saying all last year and this off season we need to extend wedige and makar first then necas or i guess necas then makar now watever lol but wedgie needs to be and this is exactly why cause blacky was hurt to start the year , are we off to a good start without wedgie ? maybe maybe not ,but we need a solid tandum for at least 3 years for once ,bumping wedgie up to 2.5 mil for 3 years i think he would be happy with that ,put his play aside hes a likable guy and he seems to be having fun playing as well like what more do u want when u go to work then to be smiling and having a good time and making everyone around you happyer aswell ,losing him for what he brings on and off the ice would just be boneheaded

  4. Well Nečas played 2nd line in Carolina and they didn't really fit his play style so I can imagine him having 50 goals season this or next one in avs with MacKinnon by his side

  5. The more goals that Necas scores, the greater the possibility that he prices himself out of Colorado. If a deal to keep Necas in Colorado doesn't happen fairly soon Look for another blockbuster trade at the deadline. The immediate change I wish Bednar would incorperate now is putting Nichushkin on the first PP instead od Nelson.

  6. I can't see them keeping Necas when his signing is uncertain, either; but given the way it went with Mikko, maybe they'll decide to bite the bullet this time in pursuit of a Cup, and not have the same scenario haunt them two years running. The front office will look like absolute fools if it comes down to that decision, though, so let's put all our positive thoughts on getting Marty signed.

  7. My though on the PP was the primary way to score on 1PP is Necas, MacKinnon, and Makar shooting while Lehky and Nelson are there to facilitate and retrieve pucks. PP2 is primarily going to try and score by getting pucks on net and letting Landy and Val pick up the rebounds and get those greasy goals.

  8. Agreed, give it a sec. That 3rd line feels great. The second line right now is still jelling, Landy still is a presence on the ice leading from there. Experimenting too early can as well cost games here and there. If it blatantly shows the line is not scoring but getting scored on, yeah lets make some adjustments. But line experimenting is what Bednar has done alot in the past and the fans hated it. They are dialing things in withing the first quarter of the season. Just praying to sweet baby jeebus that wedge stays healthy until blackwood returns.

  9. I like going to Tivoli. It’s on Metro’s campus. There’s a pizza joint there that’s fantastic. Brooklyn’s is also great.

  10. Btw me being from the same country as Necas (Czech rep.) i know from some interviews that he really likes Colorado and it doesnt appear he personally would just go for money. I d bet on less money singning , but lets see what kinda guy his agent is.
