The Minnesota Wild fell 5-1 to Washington Friday night in DC to drop to 2-3 on the season. The Wild struggled mightily to generate offense all night long, finishing with a season low 15 shots on goal. The Capitals scored once in the first and second period, and 3 goals in the 3rd. The Wild scored their lone goal courtesy of Marcus Johansson, but were mostly dominated in every single facet the rest of the night. Filip Gustavsson stopped 40 of 45 shots in net for the Wild, who face Philadelphia tomorrow to continue their 5 game road trip.

That "Lol" on shots at the beginning was a nice touch. What a garbage game. Hopefully a learning experience for the team.
I have already shut off 2 games this season midway through. Brutal!
Maybe the superstar was tired…counting all his money…
This is what I was expecting, first game was a fluke
Honestly, Tarasenko just isn’t good anymore. His forced presence in the top 6 has completely derailed this team
We cannot win on a regular basis with our current D-core. Fabre, Buiuim, Spurgeon and Brodin are all soft, slow and small. Jiricek should be playing at least he takes the body and has good gap control. All the other D give up the defensive zone because they just hope to push the play into the corner. Opposing Teams should have to pay to enter your zone.
And still refuse to call out Billy. I get it though you'd get a cease and desist from the awful owner
kind of miss when we were grit first. this soft ass team can’t do shit. when we actually played the body was a semi priority it led to so many scoring chances. except we get bullied out there now
Yurov played well, deserving2nd line over MoJo.
Time to let the youth play! Foligno, I love ya but it’s time to go. Bogo, Johansson time to move on.
Great callout about their shot inefficiency. This has been a problem for years because outside of a few players on this team, we really don't have any forwards who can consistently finish their scoring opportunities.
I think you are selling the Caps blue line short. They are very good not just decent
No one listened to me when i said they needed to just sign the only player who wouldve taken a 1 year deal for cheap that could easily be moved at any point. Kuznetsov. All this team needed was a 3c/2nd line winger for inevitable injuries, simple as that. This would also justify playing bogo over jiricek for the extra D. But no, BG is downs. Now they are going to waste assests for an old player 😂
Commenting before listening… but Eriksson Ek is being wasted having Johansson and Tarasenko as linemates.
Team is not physical, bad at 5 on 5, old, and can’t enter the blue line
You listen to all the experts around the NHL with their analysis and predictions, I’ve got just as good of a chance of being right this early in the season. We’re going to see some bad games as the team works through the gelling process.
Yurov seems to be moving in the right direction and Olgren needs to catch up to the speed of the game. Way too early to have an emotional episode when this team plays bad.
I predicted before the season started the wild will start the first 20 at about .500, and then the young guys will get there footing for a strong finish. Still think that is the case.
Signing Krill did not fix this problem..
Could have used that dough to get a couple of good offensive players to balance out lines..
No net front presence
I think the Wild has too much time off this early in the season. They looked hungover! They didn’t move their feet, they couldn’t connect on passes and zone entries were non existent. Not to take anything away from the Caps, but this game was still winnable up until the 3rd. If you don’t move your feet and have puck possession you don’t draw penalties. So they couldn’t use their strength that will eventually even out.
Do u mean to not talk in the beginning of ur videos?
You doing a postcast with Alex tonight after the game?
