It really looks good for this season so far as long as even when they lead they continue to play fast never let up I like what Appleton is bringing even when he talks he’s not all down and out that doom and gloom speech
Talbot actually played 72 for Edmonton in 16-17, had a .919. He also played 13 playoff games that year with a .924. He then followed it up with 67 games the following year.
They've played 2 1/2 solid games. After they've played 15 I think we'll know what kind of team this is going to be. Exciting for sure right now compared to the previous couple of years, but it's only 4 games. As far as the "kids" are concerned, they're very good hockey players and maybe they don't have much NHL experience, but they've played against men in professional leagues. This isn't a fluke, it's good scouting and good drafting. Something we've not had much of before 2019. Kenny Holland's imprint on this team has been washed away and we're finally seeing results from the work the organization has put in sine SY has taken over.
Jerking goalies around just causes them to lose confidence. Stop asking about the goalies 3 days in. Let them play, win, fail, lose. Let them celebrate their deserved days off and rest. The media questions are demoralizing. I know what to do with momentum. Keep winning.

How the hell do you explain this kid's trajectory as a 7th round pick out of the WHL to being in the NHL in only two years?
