Let's not make excuses for poor October early play. I agree Philp,Howard play them. My concern is the lack of effort from Connor and Leon , they seem unmotivated.

staff isnt able to find players on the best lineup. So each center gets every game new wingers, isnt nice to see, doesnt work. dont know what the staff is doing in preseason. Afterwards in training . what i have seen till now is simply said shit. cheers from Germany, see you next match

Teams are looking at the Oilers like an easy win. Weak coaching, goaltending, defence, powerplay. No physicality. I think Philp is ready for more icetime. Howard needs more development time at the farm.
It’s very simple but this coach is very afraid of his star players……..start by formulating a PP that actually has players that shoot the puck? No slot shots and only Leon is allowed to shoot from ridiculous angles……..where is the coaching?

I feel like the offence and the big 2 struggle when the defence continues to make big errors. It’s hard to continue putting in effort when Bouch and Nurse flush it all down the toilet with bonehead error after error..
I like the comments here. All align to Oilers not making the play-offs so early in the season. They gave away some of their best players from last season. Whatta mistake. Still pissed they let Kane, Brown, and Perry leave; these 3 amped up the team when they were down. Now gone for peanuts. I can see McDavid eyeing up other teams for his future new home to win the cup with.

Don't be worried Patrick – they've only lost three in a row. Its a tough road trip that they are getting out of the way at the very start which is a relief. If they win tomorrow its 2-3 on the trip. Take that and move on. I hope Hyman is ready for 1 November.

Ottawa hat auch Probleme aber ich fürchte es wird eine heftige Niederlage da geben. Das Trainerteam wurde fast komplett gewechselt, sicher ein Grund für das schwache Über und Unterzahlspiel. Hyman fehlt sicher an allen Ecken, hoffe er findet gleich seine alte Form zurück. Denke die Oilers können viel besser spielen, wenn endlich mal stabile Reihen sich gefunden haben. Savoie macht einen guten Eindruck, er steht kurz vor dem Durchbruch. Philp könnte sogar Center der zweiten Reihe werden, Howard wirkt noch wie ein Fremdkörper.
