if the team was in a good spot coming and ending the pre-season, why do we have so many line-changes? We are probably top of the league on line-changes.

In Edmonton when there's no magic with the forwards it really shows how brutal the defence and goaltending really is. How much are we spending on our defence core?
You no what, I,ve been critical of a few players early in the season and after todays game I'm going to let it go. Edmonton has a great number of players that need to gell. They are all fantastic and given time I'm sure they will get it together. Let's Go Oil
It's October, they always do bad in October. They're most likely playing until next June. So pace yourself. They aren't machines. It'll get there in time. Pieces will fall into place soon enough. People are panicking for nothing.

Stop scratching guys that are working. Philp deserves to stay in the lineup. And heaven forbid knobs please give Savoie top line minutes. Play him with McDavid the guys itching to explode and you’re only playing him like 8 minutes a game. Come on man.
Start teaching. You're a coach. Build the youngsters instead of just burying them down the lineup. You got something against the youngsters that got you promoted to the big leagues? Smh.
McDavid and Leon should sit for few shifts the 1 to 2 million dollar players are out playing them,McDavid and Leon are always surrounded by elite players and still can not perform
Wings were the better team. Oilers looked slow and unorganized. That long stretch of play gave them opportunities but they fell short, and Leon missing on the breakaway, nothing going their way. Skinner looked like a deer in the headlights as usual.
I see it more as RW managing to slow down the Oilers in the first and second periods. The opening 40/min was more of a game of check, where neither team creates any longer insative.
The third only picked up speed when the Oilers stepped on the gas, which RW can match without major problems, because the Oilers were not really present in the first two periods. RW was the better team over 60/min even though there was no great play from RW's side. Early games don't usually offer any great games. Good with a normal night's sleep as a Swede.. GG Oilers

I think all of this juggling lines and trying to find good line combinations, the majority should be done in pre season. Not 7 games 8nto the season.
