  1. I also feel like Laine and Dach are slowly getting better too. I think MSL should start PP2 sometimes, because the more icetime PP2 gets, the better they start to look. They also shoot a bit more.

  2. Caufield on pace for 82 goals…..just sayin'

Oh, and don't look now, but the Habs are at the top of the Atlantic division. #3 in the league!

  3. Hasn’t this team been giving us magic since last year after the break minus the Washington series, special group for sure.

  4. One of the most exciting Habs' endings that I have ever seen – and I've see a lot. Despite being 4 and 1, I would make some changes. 1.) Move Slaf to Line #2. Challenge him to carry or drive that line. The talent that is Ivan Demidov needs to be tapped. Now. At minimum on the power play. He'll create magic playing with the two stars, Caufield and Suzuki. I am not ready to give up on Laine, just yet. I would move him to the second line. He's a goal scorer, is he not? He is not a fourth liner. He needs ice time. I would have Bolduc play with Newhook and Kapanen. He's fast enough to keep up with them. Gallagher is playing too high up in the order. The fourth line should be as we thought that it would be about a month ago: Anderson, Evans and Gallagher. I would give Dach a little more time. He has improved only marginally. If he hasn't returned to form in, say, a week's time, I would sit him. Put Joe Valeno in there, at least for a while. You may have to cut your loses with Kirby. You won't get much for him, but at least you'll get some cap room. I agree that early in the season is a time to give people a chance. Still, you want to see improvement. We have a division to win and a Cup to win. We have the horses. A stud centre would help put us over the top, for sure. How to get one? Well, you have to give to get. I would not trade Reinbacher. A tall, smooth skating, intelligent, 21 year old stay-at-home defence man who shoots right? We'll keep him, thanks. He's had some back luck, is all. I would trade Michael Hage. I don't want to wait two years until he is supposedly good. I want to win NOW. So does Suzuki et al. You can never have too many defence men. I would not trade Adam Engstrom. With Guhle hurt (again), he may be recalled soon. A talent like that can not dwell in the AHL forever. Struble played well tonight. I would consider trading Arber, though. He continues to show poor judgment. We were offered a first round pick for him last year. Let's revisit that. We'll lose his fighting, but we'll get Struble or Anderson to do it, if necessary. Like Dach, he has not improved enough, as far as I can tell. Anderson has taken on many of the league's heavyweights and beaten them. Let's face it – he can't score, but he's good for other things. I would also start Dobes tomorrow. I don't think that they will, however. Finally, remember this: Having a few forwards who are not scoring is not so critical when you have the gifted offensive defence men that we do.

  5. Struble was more physical and noticeable in his only game compared to Xhekaj's 4 games in the lineup. Feels like Arber is playing to not make mistakes and it is costing his spot

  6. I think struble played good, however. Carrier looked really sloppy last night, i don't know if it was just because it was his old team or what, but i think i like Xhekaj-Carrier over ghule-Carrier &Hutson-Struble

  7. Struble had 1 really good period. Look at your box score he was last among D men. No wrench, he just improved his trade value as he does not have Arber's "Make the team stand taller quality". Trade him as we won't have room soon with Engstrom knocking on the door. In his interview with RDS as the first star Cole said "That's why you play until the whistle blows" He is absolutely a clutch performer. Keep the faith and Go Habs Go!

  8. what a selfish move by Marchessault. with a man on him and a player in net, his chance of scoring was very low. if he dumps the puck in the corner, the game is over.

  9. I think that xhekaj could be a good 4th line lw. 7th d, you know? Laine out. Veleno deserves a chsnce, but Struble needs and deserves to play. I don't want Xhekaj to rot or even worse, leave.

  10. my thoughts on strubble playing vs Rangers : he might play cauz injury of guhle / for the Overtime Goal record, the 3v3 overtime is only since 2015,

  11. I was at the game and it was like I was watching a movie where the habs winning was inevitable!! Nothing was going to stop them🤩

  12. I believe that All of the Players in the line up for the Habs are playing Great ! Because everyone is trying THEIR BEST TO WIN . THEY ARE THE BEST TEAM IN HOCKEY right now ! I'm not surprised that they are doing Great Job . I hope that they have 105 points so they will get 3 rd place the East !Thanks again!Newfie Boy!

  13. The HABS are such a talented group, what a roster,, I admire their tenacity speed and the joy they all carry underneath and outside their proud jersey,, which will make the RANGERs whipping of the HABS tomorrow even more precious,, nothing is greater than puckstickwhipping the future Stanley cup winners on home ice in front of a packed house,,, so sit down for a brief moment, you'll lift Sir Stanley within 3 years, but tomorrow is LET'S GO RANGERS time in de Montreal,,, 🇩🇰

  14. As I said under Junkie's vid. Try to put up list of top 10 players under 25 in NHL rn. You would be crazy if half of that are not Habs players…

  15. Living on the west coast , I mostly get to watch habs games on TV . But is it just me , or anyone else agrees that MTL home game tv camera work is still the old style , far camera from distance in 3rd row to cover more ice?? Makes the game seem slow … Come on guys , go Flames, Edmonton style . Bring the TV cameras closer to the ice .
