Josi crosscheck on Tkachuk – Tough Call Recommendation

Roman Josi was given a minor penalty for crosschecking on Brady Tkachuk.

  1. Very dirty play no puck and a cross checking and hit from behind very dangerous I give him 5 games for boarding/cross checking and a fine or 5,200 for inference

  2. Tough call rules (which are stricter) suspension makes sense.

Current NHL rules soft push , unlucky contact, 2 minutes interference. I’m sure cousins will be looking for his pound of flesh and slashing a bunch of wrists in retaliation though.

Look how far Josi is from the boards, just an unlucky pick for chucky.

Additionally the injury is to his hand which just goes to show how weird of a hit it was and was just mostly bad luck.

  3. Lol he got pushed by one hand and dove for a penalty, ended up fucking his hand up. Karma hit him quicker than he expected.
No suspension needed. If you wanna believe the little rat didn't dive at most give josi a fine.

  4. As a sens fan this is just an unlucky play. Josi cross checks him to knock him off stride, not paralyze him.

Brady toe picks and braces himself, just a very unfortunate play

  5. Though call, but whining guy.
That`s not much contact, it`s not a cross check, it`s what you get when you go through the crease.
It`s a little shove with one hand on the goal line. Turtle just needs to turn in, but falls like a sack of rice.
P.S. You are fully allowed to hold you stick in 2 hands, actually that`s how the game is played. You`re not allowed to check the opponent with your stick. Which Josi does not. You need slowmo to even see the contact.
This is max. 2 mins, unlucky that Brady did fall over into the boards, but the contact is minimal and happens every time.

  6. As an American, I like Brady Tkachuk and hate to see him (or anyone really) get injured, but as a Preds fan, Roman Josi wouldn’t intentionally try to hurt a guy. It was just a bad hit, not a dirty one.
