Chris Kreider talks emotions on first home opener out of New York, Ducks game-winning goal over Pens



Longtime Ranger and new Ducks forward Chris Kreider netted two power play goals, including the game-winner with 87 seconds remaining, as the Ducks capped off a back-and-forth home opener over Pittsburgh, 4-3. Kreider spoke on the power play production and how different this first home game was with Anaheim. Troy Terry talks about how Kreider has anchored the special teams unit early, and Joel Quenneville gives his postgame reaction.

  1. The people that allowed him to come over to my Duck's thank you for your stupidity ❤ Mr Kreider is doing for what Gudas has done for our Defense. Really teaching the wee ones, and elevating everyone's game. It has been so fun to watch everyone so far this year. At this rate not just the Playoffs, but we get the cup. Keep the adrenaline boost boys!
    Again thanks to the suits from his prior team that let us have him. We'll happily win with him.

  2. Ducks have years of experience trading guys we should have kept. Its nice to be on the receiving end for once as we believed in Kreider when NY lost their confidence in him. Their loss our gain – Go Kreider!!! We believe in you!

  3. Ranger fan here. Kills me to see our guy over here. But it was time for him to move on for him. Rangers def f….ed him. He was our heart and soul. Treat him well ducks and enjoy the show.
