From poor ownership, management, and coaching, all the way to lack of effort from the players wearing the logo, no fanbase deserves an answer to their teams poor start than Sabres fans. Well DeBoer is unemployed currently, there's plenty of valid critique of him, but I think all could agree he's better than Ruff at this point, I dont see them doing the complete top-down rebuild that you suggested but new coach would be a fairly easy change

The Sabres' situation makes me feel better about supporting the Jaguars in the NFL — at least they've had some good seasons to break up the misery. (And started well this year.)
Also, it's crazy that the same guy whose ownership has run this franchise into the ground is the same one who's overseen the Bills becoming a consistent contender after their own elongated playoff drought. Maybe football's just a higher priority for Pegula?

As bad as sabers are, the ownership is not even in the same universe as bad as the MLB, Oakland > Sacramento > Las Vegas A's owner John Fisher. Fisher is worst owner in North America sports and it not even close.

The fact that they have expensive concessions is the most laughable part. Yes, it is a huge slap in the face to your fans. Sure. Stanley Cup Finals should be expensive. Discount teams should have a dollar menu. I don't mean that metaphorically.
