    I was heated last night because of how we blew that game, but here the day after and I'm more level headed. Going into the game I kind of expected to lose this one, but man we scraped a lead together and I really thought we had it. It was brutal because I felt like there were like 3 different times we could have put the game away and just couldn't. Do I wish Marchy would have just driven the puck to the corner in the 3rd to kill time and just win that way? Yes. But looking back to last year we were begging them to shoot,so I'm trying not to be upset about a shoot first mentality here.

    What is this team's identity? Offensive, Defensive, Counter-Attacking, Aggressive Forecheck, heavy backcheck, strict positioning, scheme exploiters, neutral zone trappers, etc.

    How many back-up goalies is this team going to face this season (faced 3 out of 5 – Greaves, Primeau, and Dobes)? Is this the league insulting the roster? Most likely a result of compact schedule (due to olympics)? Will facing more back-up goalies inflate the Predators point total over the season.

    Who gets put on waivers when Hague gets back?

    What are the defensive pairings that work best longterm this season?

    The Bunting – Haula – Marchessault line has been great to start. What will Brunette and Trotz do to get production out of the other forward lines?

    A win against Winnipeg would really hit the spot. A 3-1-2 start with a win over a division rival would do a lot for the vibes

    I’m just feeling thankful we are NOT 0-5! While I would love to be playing in the Stanley Cup finals this year let’s be honest — that is likely not happening. I love the boys are playing with heart and fought to the bitter end! Let’s go Preds!

    I’m better today than I was last night, but seeing NHL, ESPN, TSN, and SportsNet celebrating Caufield and the Habs for their miraculous comeback performance, is really annoying!
