Florian Xhekaj with the nice pass to set up Davidson and then later Davidson with the nice effort on the forecheck on Mesar’s goal. Jacob Fowler with the bounce back win after a bit of a shaky season opener, he wasn’t overly tested but stopped all 19 shots. Hope Josiah Didier is ok that that cheap shot.

All I see is tons of bad hockey a poorly coached team low IQ hockey like everything is tomato land.
Low scoring IQ they can't finish good opportunities not getting pucks to the net but instead throwing them around the boards nobody going to the net in hopes the puck also goes there very poor coverage in the D zone this is just real bad hockey all over the ice.
There is some positives they are finishing their checks and unlike the soft habs they are winning board battles and that is a HUGE plus to maintaining an offensive push they just need to learn to elevate shots to score on the bad modern goalies.
I figure Laval to fall off a bit from last year but if they can continue to at least win puck battles that can go a very long way to success I mean it's not rocket science if you don't have the puck you can't score lol.They just need to learn to use their stick better in close there is a lot of cement hands and shoveling pucks into the goalies pads then again there are very few Caufields around.
