We cannot ignore what the Habs are doing…

Lane Hutson and Cole Caufeild save the day for the Montreal Canadiens as they ALMOST lost to one of the worst teams in the NHL. That and more in today’s NHL hockey video!

  1. Terrifying might be a bit of a stretch but they are certainly an exciting team to watch. They have risen from a team in transition to a competitive team. Too early in the season to say they are a legitimate contender but it will be fun to watch them grow and gain respect over the season.

  2. I would never hire you for a job in anything accounting related or if I want to win a cup. The Goal of the NHL is to win a cup, worth more than all the money in the world!

  3. Last year they were the youngest team to make the playoffs. This year with the loss of Dvorak and Armia they're even younger. So if they make the playoffs this year then they'll break they're own record breaking record.

  4. When Jacob Fowler is ready, maybe the Habs can ship Monty to Edmonton, then Canada can have 2 teams that are cup contenders.

  5. From what I understand, Hutson wanted a cheap deal, even cheaper than Dobson's.
It shows the players are here to play, not for the pay.

  6. This play is so much more insane than people are saying. Cole and Suz are such an underrated duo. Their chemistry is off the charts. Suz gets the puck out of the scrum on the boards and never even looks at Cole. Suz knows and trusts Cole to be open. Never takes a look towards Cole until the puck is off his twig, then perfectly times his screen infront of Saros at the exact time Cole sends it past him. Absolutely electric chemistry between these two. Love it. Great day to be a habs fan

  7. Theres no guarantee for a Cup but its sooo refreshing to have young talented players signed for long term after more than a decade of having only average players (our top forwards used to be 60pts players like Koivu, Ribeiro, Ryder, Gomez, Plekanec, Pacioretty, etc….)

  8. With the two empty net icing calls, Marchessault on the break with 25 secs left decides to shoot and risk the turnover instead of maintaining puck control and trying to run out the clock. They didn't need the goal to win. Or, was trying the shot the better odds?

  9. And yet people ignore how much better the red wings are doing and beat better teams than Montreal has .Detroit is going to be the fun team to watch this year not Montreal lol.and red wings will make the playoffs.that loss to Montreal game 1 WAS 100% A FLUKE ,we should’ve won that game but no of guys were ready to play that’s all happens all the time to any team on the first game.GO RED WINGS

  10. The Habs are getting good. But i think their weakness is in front of the net. They do not have a goalie that can steal a match

  11. Still in the pipelines : Fowler – Hage – Zharovsky , just to name those, couple more promising prospect .. Habs are going to be fun to watch for yrs to come

  12. A lot of our players could get more money elsewhere but they just love the culture and they believe in the team so much why wouldn't they stay, some of them even leave money on the table for the better of the team, I'm talking about Evans and Hutson of course.

  13. Yup, Canada's best chance at the next cup. I believe in Edmonton, but if they don't win this year, it's the Habs. Go Habs go! Go Canada! We've let a generation down by not winning a cup, bring it home boys, bring a team to Quebec city too… Nick has to make the team, it would be a shame to not have him represent Canada. The Habs look like a good set of lads playing fun hockey, it's nice to watch. I love how the negative media in Montreal that always has a microscope, that blames a player and sends them to the shadow realm are quiet af. Looking at you Benoît Brunet, what shit approach can you have next? At least we're not the leafs?

    Good show Eck.

  14. A bit sad the game against the Kraken didn't also get a mention but yeah, another one for the heart attack counter

  15. no Canadian team has won the Cup since the Habs, and the Canadiens are also the next team to do it…Go Habs Go!

  16. As a preds fan it’s embarrassing to watch us choke another lead with an empty net. We’ve done it so much the past couple seasons.
