The New Jersey Devils returned to The Rock for their Home Opener, and defeated the defending Back-To-Back Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers by a score of 3-1 on 10/16/2025.
Prudential Center was lively before the game; the NJ Devils had their annual Fan Fest on Championship Plaza which featured a Red Carpet Arrival for the players, as well as many other activities.
Jake Allen stood tall in net for the Devils, Jack Hughes got his first goal of the season, Timo Meier continued his early season edition of TIMO TIME, and the captain Nico Hischier added another goal in the win.

At this game with my dad, what a amazing game, this was the first game we went to and they won since the stadium series in 2024. He’s been a huge fan since the beginning, and saw all three cups. As a 13 year old I MUST see one in my lifetime LGD!
