Yzerman is currently shopping Gustavsson and Hamonic. If all 3 rookies stay with the team, I expect Jonatan Berggren to be traded as well. I could see Yzerman trading Gustavsson to Anaheim for a very late pick or future considerations.
Gibson has to get going. If he and Talbot can give us 2 out of 3 we will be in great shape.
Nah, bye bye Rasmussen, he needs to go. He's not physical or fast enough to play wing, and hes terrible at face offs, why keep him? He got 2 points last game because of his teammates not him, and hes been the worst forward with minimal minutes since the season started. Hes had more than enough chances but hes just a big pylon.

That looks like a playoff bottom 6.
Other than watching struggles to get the puck out of our defensive zone after we have possession, I'm very happy how we're playing. All four lines look like they're fine, and even are threats to generate offense. I'm most concerned about #5 & #6 defenseman.
For me, Mazur is still clearly ahead of Danielson because Mazur is more of the type of forward the Wings need recently. Danielson shows flashes but I don’t think his play was very consistent in pre season and camp
Having 4 rookies on the roster is a bit jarring, unless an injury happens or one of the other rookies is sent down, Danielson may spend his year in GR.
Having Nate start on the third line will be ideal, he would develop chemistry with another rookie in MBN and his defensive upside could also aid in the PK concerns this team has
Not crazy on Gibson. He played one game, so i’ll give him the benefit of the doubt. We shall see tonight. Not convinced though. I wasn’t super thrilled when we signed him either.
