  1. Dangle and the SDPN guys having to eat their words about Detroit, and then their cope following it was amazing.

  2. Kane has a team friendly contract. Raymond and Mo did the same. Ed will play ball fer 8-9 mill. They all love it here and wanna be a of to sign more players and compete for a cup!!!!

  3. Go to Nashville in March, would love to have a drink on the strip. I was at the game on Monday. I saw you guys saying by to Dangle at the front entrance. Made sure to tell Steve to prepare to eat some crow in the comments while waiting for the train lol

  4. It was very satisfying for Steve and their podcast shitting on the Red Wings, besides Jessie. When Steve ranked them 7th out of 8, to see the bad Wings beat his team twice was priceless. Also, on his LFR after the one of the wings game, he called Larkin a diver. Well at least the Wings didnt lose, lololol.

  5. ASP needs to get stronger fast. The wings are horrible in their own end. They got caught chasing and get muscled off the puck so easy. Then when they collect, they can’t make a solid breakout pass. Everything is off the boards and 50/50 turnover or out. ASP can pass but he needs to be better collecting and holding onto the puck in his zone

  6. I was at that game as well. I wish I saw you fellas! I LOST it when Appy scored! And the lady 2 seats over from me was like "FUCK. OFF."

  7. Yeah it is those damn matinee games. The effort always seems different. It was kind of frustrating to watch in person. I was expecting more for check based off the current system. I was kind of like, "can't believe I payed 500 bucks for this." But I can't complain with a win I suppose

  8. 6:08 that particular Monday was Christopher Columbus Day

"…he discovered America is what he did, he was a brave, Italian explorer, and in this house Columbus is a hero, end of story!

  9. Razor already upgraded to day to day, if he doesn't play against the Bolts, it should be the last he misses

  10. 17:09 I am significantly more concerned with the lack of a response than the lack of a call, which there should have been.

Tanev should have been forced to answer the bell.

How many years ago did we get absolutely punked by the Sens?

  11. I had COMPLETELY forgotten about the whole "Mason Raymond" thing lol. What an elite title for an episode boys! lol.

  12. Very impressed with the coaching so far. I get the not wanting to get too high or low style or philosophy of Blashill or Lalonde.

However, I felt they didn’t seem emotionally on the same ride as the players as Todd MacLellan. He talks about the momentum and positivity of building off of a successful PK as something that stuck out as a difference. I just feel like he can be a hammer of truth if needed to address mistakes, but I also feel he is equally proud of a good performance aspect too. That is one thing I liked about John Tortorella. He seemed like he was fully with the team emotionally if that makes sense. He had other things that led to his firing, but he had a lot of guys that seemed to be willing to run through a wall for him or hate him. I get the positive aspects of that with Todd MacLellan. Seems like an upfront and direct person, but I also think he communicates successes well too.

Real happy from a coaching philosophy standpoint that we will see a more consistent identity with the team. Fast, hard skating, high effort, pressuring team is where I see the team going and how they want to play. For a long time, I didn’t get a good sense of “this is what we are good at and this is what we are trying to do” team identity. I hope I am right.

Happy as hell with the start, and I hope it is the start of fun hockey to watch as a fan. Think the youth movement and willingness to keep using them will get us there sooner rather than later.

  13. That whole third line is going to be nervous together. They're all on hot seats (MBN just because of the 10 day rule).

  14. About the Edvinsson extension, I don’t think he should make more than Hutson. Which makes me happy. Would sign 8 x 8 or in that ballpark

  15. what Ive noticed about the red wings compared to the top teams is whenever they're in the offensive zone and someone gets open, it seems to be a habit for everyone to hestiate and stickhandle the puck instead of letting the puck fly. In this league that one second is crucial and can decide whether or not the opposing goaltender has the time to get set. another thing is the passing game is horrible. They need to get better at passing the puck. if you watch the Wings and then go and watch an Av's game its a night and day difference. if they can fix those two things i think they become quite a force in the league. Kane and Cat need to give passing lessons.

  16. If you come to Anaheim let me know. The vibes here are unparalleled and the crowd makeup at Detroit games is close to 50/50 ducks/detroit.

I love the SoCal hockey culture lol

(I will be wearing the winged wheel on October 31st as a Ducks season ticket holder. I expect to have to say “no I love them both dw I just love Detroit a little more” a lot)

  17. If Detroit can go 41-32-9 and tie for a wildcard under lalaonde then I'm sure this team can do just as good if not better under Todd. I get everyone is a little superstitious and nervous but I think we are pissed for a much better season. Just gotta stay healthy and stay consistent. No more old man energy. Keep the youth movement going and the energy up especially with the rookies.

  18. As "The Away Fan" I can confidently say that my experiences at Wells Fargo Center in Philly has never been crazy or bad. Now the Prudential Center in Jersey, that was straight up awful. I've also never had a great time in Shitsburg, but thats mostly because I loathe the flightless birds. LGRW 🐙 🏒 🤘

  19. New fan here from Australia, I actually laughed out loud hearing you guys talk about leafs fans 🤣 I’m loving all the rivalry talk it gets me even more into the game
