  1. It’s wild that the Canucks are playing 6 freakin rookies, and we’re basically at cap.

I literally don’t know if I’ve ever seen that

  2. Those of us in Germany who didn't see the game might have been curious about how EP40 performed. You talked about everybody and everything, except whether the 11.6 million centre is showing signs of life. I gather that he did okay, but he still only has 2 points in his first 4 games. Frankly, it's great that they got a win, but if he doesn't return to form, it's all going to be meaningless. So, I watch the post game show, and wait, and wait, and wait…

  3. I thought DPetey had put the puck in his own net, that makes sense, Dmen it happens, when I saw it was EP40 I just started laughing. I am loving Chytil, ordered a jersey.

  4. Very deft deflection from EP for his first of the campaign!
But seriously folks, its great that they got the W cuz 1 and 3 start would be not a good thing to state the obvious. Fingers crossed they don't erase the vibes with a poor performance in the Windy City on Friday. Let's go Canucks! 🏒

  5. Pettersson played good defensively (minus the fluke deflection, not a fault), won critical face-offs in the 3rd and made some good blocks. It is a good sign and level of maturity that he does not leave his defensive game just to appease some people to get a point here or there. Defence first and points are secondary, what’s important is attention to detail, maintaining structure, being creative and having others around you succeed. He’s got it in basic form but has a lot to work on as this will always be a work in progress. I think a lot of fans got it all wrong. They just want goals goals goals, but it’s not a video game, the NHL doesn’t work that way. It is very hard to teach offensive players to become defensive juggernauts. Petey already has all the tools on all areas of the ice, he’s just gotta put it all together and work to perfect his craft, and there’s only a handful in history that have – so it’s a tall task, but if anyone can do it it’s Petey. Definitely not JT. That is a fact. So glad we got rid of that negativity, just ask Quinn how relieved he is of that bs sideshow
